Rita is in the East Coast metropolis for just a few days, before returning to London, where she is professionally and personally based.

In addition to having a successful chart career and recent foray into modelling, it seems that the peroxide blonde is also about to become a screen star.
It was announced last year that Rita had beaten several other big-name stars to be cast in the role of Mia in the highly-anticipated adaptation of E.L. James' literary phenomenon, Fifty Shades Of Grey.

Rita confirmed the news in early December, tweeting: 'It's official! I've been cast in @FiftyShades of Grey as Christian's sister Mia.'
The singer had acting training while studying at the Sylvia Young Theatre School in her youth, and in the past has appeared in the 2004 film Spivs, as well as last year's Fast & Furious 6, where she played a racer.
