She was criticised for stealing the spotlight from Sam Bailey during their duet in the first leg of The X Factor final on Saturday night.
And it would seem that Nicole Scherzinger was intent on being the centre of attention once again as she took to the stage at London's Wembley Arena on Sunday.
The 35-year-old singer proved she'd well and truly saved her best until last as she opted for her most daring ensemble to date at the grand finale of the ITV1 talent show in a striking semi-sheer gold gown that was slashed to the navel.

Parading her incredible figure as she arrived on stage alongside co-judges Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Gary Osbourne, the Don't Hold Your Breath hitmaker positively oozed showstopping glamour in her revealing plunging dress from British designer Julien Macdonald's SS14 collection.

Despite having just tiny gold flecks preserving her modesty in front of millions of viewers, Nicole didn't bat an eyelid as she confidently paraded her impeccable physique in the awe-inspiring ensemble.
Letting her attention-grabbing outfit do the talking, the Hawaiian-born beauty completed her final ensemble with simple pearl and gold jewellery, while wearing her brunette locks tumbling in a cascade of voluminous curls around her shoulders.
Style sisters: But the talent show judge was certainly given a run for her money by fellow panellist Sharon Osbourne, who also opted for a revealing semi-sheer gown for the occasion

Adding the finishing touches to her look, Nicole opted for natural, dewy make-up, contoured lids and highlighted cheekbones as she showed off her striking features in all her glory.

Shunning her usual penchant for black, Mrs O branched out in a striking scarlet full-length number with a fishtail hem, featuring flattering applique patterning to preserve her modesty as she commanded attention on stage.

Complementing her look with a pop of scarlet lipstick which provided an ideal contrast to her perfect porcelain skin, the 60-year-old showbiz matriarch wore her red locks swept back off her face into a voluminous style.
And it would seem the female judges' striking looks certainly didn't go unnoticed, with host Dermot O'Leary visibly unable to articulate his feelings.
Staring open-mouthed at the pair, he commented: 'Howchy wow-wa!'

But the girls weren't let down in the sartorial stakes by male judges Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh.
Fabulous four: Pulling out all the stops for the occasion, Gary Barlow was suited and booted to perfection in a black two-piece and bow-tie, while Louis Walsh paid tribute to his Scottish act Nicholas McDonald in a pair of fun and funky tartan trousers

The X Factor final saw Sam Bailey and Nicholas McDonald battle it out in the hope of winning a £1million recording contract with Syco Records and the chance to join Beyonce Knowles on the UK leg of her Mrs Carter world tour in 2014.
Sharon's act, Sam, was crowned eventual winner of the 2013 X Factor in a public vote.
