And Lady Gaga took the festive season as her inspiration as she left the Jingle Bell Ball at London’s O2 arena wearing a real Christmas tree.
The Born This Way singer made her way to the Langham Hotel with a pine tree decorated with baubles and a star as a hat.

She wore a bright green wig while her red playsuit resembled the pot of the Christmas tree.
Earlier in the evening the star had headlined the second night of the festive event.
Lady Gaga sang her hit song Poker Face and asked the audience 'does anyone know what this song is really about?'

She cryptically answered: 'When you're lying in bed and you have a Christmas secret.'
The songstress continued revealing how happy she was to be back in an arena, saying: 'This is a very exciting day for me. I haven't performed in an arena since February because grandma had a hip problem. So thank you for being my welcome back.'
In between belting out her tracks she told the audience: 'I have a very very rebellious spirit but when I get in trouble I tell them I was born this way.'

Chatting away to the child heavy crowd, she said: 'I learned something really special during all my time off. While I was gone, I learned I might have had my picture taken every day and people calling my name but I felt unfulfilled.
'I never wanted to be famous for no reason. I live for this moment when the spotlight hits my face. I get to watch you laugh at me and say I can't believe she said that.

Earlier in the day, the chameleon-like singer had stepped out in another look, wearing a wig of blonde dreadlocks and a starfish-print trouser suit with her black bra on show.

Their amazing vocals were backed with a simple beat, with Jesy Nelson telling the crowd: ‘We're very excited about tonight, so we thought we'd do a little a cappella number for you.’
They then performed DNA, which was followed by their new single Little Me, which was dedicated to all of their fans, before finishing with Wings.

Jessie J was joined by Dizzee Rascal when the 'Bonkers' rapper joined her on stage to sing Wild.
The UK star kicked off with a performance of her hit song Price Tag, wearing a red sparkly sequined dress with bright red glitter in her cropped black hair.
Then Jessie told the crowd she wanted to get ‘the slow song out of the way first’ by performing hremotional latest single Thunder, which features on her recent album Alive.

Jessie then proceeded to sing her number one hit Domino, asking the crowd: ‘Who's feeling sexy and free? Are you ready to show me that you are?’
The UK singer then sang her first ever single Do It Like A Dude which included a breakdown of Jay-Z's hit N****s In Paris.
Then Jessie sang her lead Alive single Wild before Dizzee Rascal joined her on stage.
Her final song of the night was It's My Party, heading straight out to the front of the stage runway.

The boys then began an acoustic version of one of their best-known singles, Standing In The Dark, with Andy asking the crowd to singalong.
Their final performance was their latest single Juliet, with the crowd singing along.
