Weaver meanwhile will play the mother of the Ramses, while John Turturro is set to play Seti, his father.
Another incredible set was built earlier this year in the Sierra Alhamilla mountain range in Almeria, Spain, to depict ancient Egypt.
The film is scheduled for release next December.

As Batman, he defeated colourful villains including  the Joker, but Christian Bale’s new challenge is of biblical proportions – parting the Red Sea in his latest role as Moses.
In our exclusive photograph, Bale sports an impressive beard and is dressed in traditional robes.
The 39-year-old Welsh actor  – who was acclaimed for his Batman portrayal – plays the prophet in the epic Exodus, being filmed by Alien director Ridley Scott.

A set has been built on the Canary island of Fuerteventura to depict ancient Egypt, and the cast includes Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul, Sir Ben Kingsley and Sigourney Weaver.
Paul will play Hebrew slave Joshua, who leads the Israelites to the Promised Land after the death  of Moses.
