But as Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt took their six children to a wildlife park on Thursday, their son Pax may have wanted to take more than just a small token home from the trip.
The 10-year-old boy was spotted sweetly carrying a kangaroo wrapped in a blanket as he and his famous mother doted on the joey.

No doubt the youngster was hoping to take the adorable marsupial home as he carted the orphaned creature around the park.
The joey is reported to have lost its mother in the wild and had been given refuge at the Currumbin Wildlife Park.
Little Pax was clearly smitten with the kangaroo as he held onto the small animal for as long as he could.

Zahara, wearing a pink outfit and high top trainers, was also spotted giving her mother and father a big hug during the day of family bonding.

And the famous couple appeared to be making full use of the educational day with their children, including Pax's bonding session with the adorable marsupial.

The couple, who have a net worth of over $300million, have been spending time in Australia while mother-of-six Angelina is directing the war film Unbroken, which is set for release on Christmas Day 2014.
The movie chronicles the life of Louis Zamperini, who was an Olympic runner that was taken prisoner by Japanese forces during World War II.
Keeping with the World War II theme, Brad will be staring in Fury, which is about Americans in Nazi Germany toward the end of the war who go on a daring mission.
The actor plays 'Wardaddy' and stars alongside Shia Lebeouf, Logan Lerman, Jon Bernthal, and Michael Peña in the film that is set for an October 2014 release.
