He had already
proposed to his girlfriend Kim Kardashian in a lavish fashion by hiring
out an entire baseball field, a 50 piece orchestra and presenting her
with a whopping 15-carat engagement ring.
But that just wasn't enough for Kanye West.
Clearly
still on cloud nine from his extravagant proposal on Monday night at
the AT&T baseball park in San Francisco, the rapper dedicated a song
to his bride-to-be while he performed in concert in San Jose the
following night.
Love songs and dedications: Kanye West referred
to Kim Kardashian as 'my fiancee' for the first time on Tuesday night as
he performed during a concert in San Jose, California
On cloud nine: Kanye was pictured grinning from
ear-to-ear on Tuesday, ahead of his concert and just hours after he
asked Kim to be his wife
According to People
magazine,
before Kanye belted out his song Bound 2, which is subsequently about
his romance with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, the
36-year-old referred to Kim as 'my fiancee' for the very first time in
public.
As Kim sat in the crowd with her
mother Kris Jenner, Kanye gushed to the crowd: 'You know what song this
is, right? I want to sing this song to the birthday girl that's back
there right now, my fiancée.'
The
singer, who is known for his often hard exterior, was clearly showing
his softer side, also sharing with the audience his words of wisdom when
it comes to love.
Enamoured: Kim stood up as she watched her man perform at the stadium and clearly looked enamoured
All about me: Kanye dedicated his song Bound 2
to his wife-to-be, which is about his romance with the Keeping Up With
The Kardashians star
'If you came with somebody that you love tonight, hold on so tight,' he said. 'What I'm trying to say is it's hard to find you.'
Kanye
also hinted that Kim had helped give him a second chance of life after
his mother Donda died in 2007, following complication from plastic
surgery.
He said that after her passing, he began to spiral out of control.
VIPs: Kim was seated with her mother Kris Jenenr in special seats at the venue
Excited: Kim has said that she is the 'luckiest girl in the world' and cannot wait to 'marry her best friend'
'I felt like everything was spiraling and falling and I was questioning my faith,' he said.
'Life,'
he continued. 'Sometimes I'm feeling like I had a second chance in
life. 'Cause I remember in my career early on when I could have lost my
life.'
Ahead of his concert, nothing seemed like it could get Kanye down as he was pictured grinning from ear-to-ear.
Looking like the cat that got the cream, the rapper, who recently assaulted a paparazzi at LAX, even waved to photographers.
And
the Touch The Sky star certainly had plenty of reasons to be happy, as
he had just hours earlier proposed to the woman of his dreams.
Kanye
hired out San Francisco's AT&T baseball park to ask for Kim's hand
in marriage in front of her family and friends on Monday night.
The rock that he got: Kim has been left thrilled
after Kanye proposed to her on Monday night with a 15-carat Lorraine
Schwartz engagement ring in San Francisco
She said yes! On Tuesday morning, Kim tweeted a
picture of her new bling with the scoreboard sign that lit up with the
proposal in the background
The rapper, who is in the midst of his world tour, popped the question to Kim after serenading her with a 50 piece orchestra.
The band struck up the romantic ballad
Young And Beautiful from film The Great Gatsby by songstress Lana Del
Rey, followed by his own hit with Keri Hilson and Ne-Yo, Knock You Down.
After
Kim said yes, Kanye slipped a stunning Lorraine Schwartz 15-carat
diamond ring onto her finger and fireworks exploded in the sky as
the rest of her family ran out of the dugouts.
The mother-of-one gushed to E!
on Tuesday that she is 'the luckiest girl in the world,' in her first
statement since her 36-year-old beau popped the questioned.
'Last night was truly magical!!! I am the luckiest girl in the world!' the reality star said. 'I get to marry my best friend!'
That magic moment: The romantic proposal has
been caught on camera, and shows Kanye getting down on bended knee to
ask for Kim's hand in marriage
Sealed with a kiss: Kanye and Kim locked lips during the romantic moment
Very pleased with himself: Kanye certainly
looked like the cat that got the cream as he posed with his future bride
following the spectacle
