"He had a few chances to score and didn't put them away. He'll put them away next time. It's not worrying. It would be worrying if he wasn't getting the chances to score", Carvajal added.
"We tried to open up the play on both the left and right wings. This is what we're asked to do (by Ancelotti). We were told to cross the ball often and also from deeper areas. Teams normally defend deep and it's difficult to find a way through the centre. I think the team played really well and looked sharp. We closed them down high up the pitch and that gave us more options going forward", the defender added.
Carvajal also believes the game against Juventus at the Bernabéu on Wednesday in the Champions League is "important" and that the team is "gradually" beginning to reach a "high level of play".
