But for this Satruday’s episode of Strictly Come Dancing Abbey Clancy will have to show off her fiercer side when she performs the Tango.
And in preparation for upping her game the 27-year-old and her professional dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec, braved the elements at an army assault course to work on her strength and attack.
Training: Abbey Clancy visited an army assault course ahead of this week's Strictly Come Dancing
Swapping the sparkly costumes for army fatigues the model had a GI Jane moment as she hit the course.
Making sure she didn’t get too cold she wore a long sleeve top beneath her camouflage jacket and she wore a cap over her blonde hair which was pulled back in a ponytail.
Aljaz was taking no prisoners as he constantly drilled the model along the course shouting: ‘Go go go, use your core, work your stamina, remember your posture and footwork!’, to which she returned ‘Sir yes sir!’.
Stuck in: Abbey didn't mind getting muddy and even smeared some on her face
Always ready: The model and her professional dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec had a dance during the course
Careful: At one point it looked as if she was going to push Alijaz in the muddy water
Abbey blames the extreme measures on judge Craig Revel Horwood after he picked up on the fact she didn't have any attack in last week’s routine.
But after climbing over walls, up ramps and along ropes, a determined Abbey said: ‘I can do it, I've got to do it so I will!’
And judging by the effort she put in while on the course, which saw her run through muddy water and doing the monkey bars, she’s more than prepared for what lies ahead.
Messing about: Abbey seemed to be thinking about jumping on her partner's back
It suits her: While army fatigues aren't what Abbey is used to they looked good on her
Taking a break: Abbey and Aljaz had a sit down as they went around the course together
Speaking earlier in the week about how training and dancing every day for four weeks was taking its toll on her, the Liverpudlian beauty said: ‘I’ve been using muscles that I never knew I had; my arms, legs, neck, back …. I need to work on my core strength.’
‘I don’t think anyone realises how hard these dances are on your body, they physically drain you. When it came to the live show I literally had nothing left, I couldn’t give it everything.’
She continued: ‘I don’t think anyone realises how much energy and stamina you need to do these really intense dances.’
A bit wet: Abbey took off her shoe to get rid of the water that had accumulated
Feel the burn: The model seemed to struggle as she swung from the monkey bars
So far Abbey has received numerous positives comments from the show's judges, Bruno Tonioli, Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood and Darcey Bussell.
Last week, Bruno said: 'There is plenty to fancy about Miss Clancy. The attitude, the sex kitten, the nonchalant Brigitte Bardot. You look fab!'
Darcey added: 'Darcey said: 'You can dance, Abbey. You just have to trust your partner and relax. You have it all, just believe in yourself. You're working really hard.'
Attention: The duo braved the elements in order to train for the upcoming show
