Watch Messi, Bale and Hernandez star in the desert for the new FIFA 14 advert

0
New La Liga rivals Lionel Messi and Gareth Bale travelled to the desert to appear in a new advert for popular football video game FIFA 14.
Messi, arguably the best player in the world, and Bale, the most expensive player ever, were joined by Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, former Everton midfielder Tim Cahill and AC Milan hotshot Stephan El Shaarawy for the advert.
Canadian rapper Drake, a huge football fan who helped introduce the game at video game conference E3, also features on the video.

After FIFA revealed their player rankings for the new game, it was somewhat surprising to see the £86million Bale way down in 17th place on the list, below the likes of Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Robin van Persie.
He is ranked at 87 (out of 99), level with the man who has just exited Real Madrid for Arsenal, Mesut Ozil.

FIFA 14 will be released in the UK on September 27.
