Naomi, 43, arrived in a fitted black trouser suit, that covered her svelte figure, apart from revealing a little skin around her cleavage.
As an active campaigner for charity work in conjunction with heads of state and world government, Naomi made for a worthy guest at the event to highlight the global efforts to implement the United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and sustainable development around the world.

At the televised gala held in New York, just as the U.N. General Assembly convenes, Naomi caught up with some friends from her charity work, including Zindzi Mandela, Josina Machel and Princess of Africa Yvonne Chaka Chaka.
The four women all wore black to the event at The Waldorf Astoria, and Campbell seemed particularly keen to see Zindzi, who she tweeted a picture of during the event.
But while the most famous black model of her time rubbed shoulders with high-level government officials, senior United Nations staff, leaders from the business community and civil society, Naomi still had an eye on the Primetime Emmy awards, and her fellow model, Heidi Klum's success.

On Sunday, she tweeted: '@heidiklum Congratulation to on your Emmy for 'Best TV Reality Host' last week. You looked great on tonight's show.'
Campbell has her own fashion show currently on the air, and during London Fashion Week, the veteran model was recruiting girls from the capital to appear in The Face.
The show - much like Tyra Banks' America's Next Top Model - aims to find the fashionable face of tomorrow, and Naomi is also the executive producer, who is now taking her series to Australia.

And like Tyra, Campbell might be fronting her own talk show, having been offered her own couch to chat to celebrities by major U.S. networks.
And a source close to the model told Mail Online: 'Naomi recently gave a lot of tough news interviews on the subject of Diversity in Fashion and she excelled and really found her role as intelligent commentator and pundit fulfilling.
'She's had offers from Kate Couric, The Today Show and The View for her to be a guest commentator and/or anchor.
'There's even been a major US network approach her for her own talk show.'
