While his girlfriend Kim Kardashian
stays home in Los Angeles looking after their baby girl North, Kanye
West has been busy indulging his love of fashion hundreds of miles away.
And the
clothes-loving rapper got a little touchy feely with Canadian model Coco
Rocha at the Diesel Black Gold show at New York Fashion Week on Monday
night.
The 36-year-old kissed Coco and shook her hand before they took their seats at Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal.

There, they continued to chat despite fashion designer Renzo Rosso sitting in between them
In fact, Renzo was forced to lean forward at one point, so Coco and Kanye could continue their conversation.
The
24-year-old short-haired beauty looked edgy in a black leather jacket
and skirt teamed with a flick of black cat's eye eye-liner and bright
pink lipstick.
She seemed quite excited about
watching the show with the rapper. 'Watching the Diesel Black Gold show
from my perspective and Kanye's,' she tweeted.
Kanye meanwhile, sported a simple white shirt, blue jeans and a checked red and blue jacket tied around his waist.
The
rapper has been spotted at several New York Fashion Week shows,
checking out collections from Alexander Wang and Louise Goldin.
Something
of a fashionista, the rapper showed his début fashion line back in
October 2011 and earlier this year, collaborated with French label A.P.C
for a new capsule collection.
Kanye's
line consisted of just three T-shirt styles, three sweatshirts, and two
pairs of jeans, with a plain white T-shirt retailing for $120.
Despite the collaborative aspect of the partnership, Kanye certainly has strong opinions on fashion design, according to Jean Touitou, the French label's founder and a close friend of the rapper.

He told W Magazine that Kanye has 'strong obsessions' and 'wants to go in so many different directions.'
He said: 'It took us two years to create
just three items... Basically, he wants to redo the whole universe.
When we finally finished this collection, I felt like, Okay, if I made
this happen, then I can achieve peace in the Middle East.'

Meanwhile Kim, who is also a burgeoning
fashion designer, has rarely
been seen in public since the birth of baby North on June 15.
However,
she was spotted arriving at a friend's house in Los Angeles with newly
dyed blonde hair while carrying the little girl in a carry cot.

and black heels with her blonde hair pulled into a high bun.
The Diesel Black Gold show was described by The New York Times as ' very rock ’n’ roll, and a little bit dirty,' with the collection boasting 'distressed boyfriend jeans and pastels.'
