Sandra Bullock sends son Louis off to school with a peck on the cheek

The only leading man currently in the star's life is three feet tall, cute-as-a-button and calls her Mama.
That's right, we're of course talking about her son, Louis.
With her adorable three-year-old's arms tightly wrapped around her neck, the Oscar-winner looked in her element as she enjoyed their daily walk to school in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

With her hair pulled back in a no-fuss ponytail, black sunglasses firmly in place and a satchel slung across her torso, the A-lister looked like any other mother spending her last moments of quality time with her child before her busy day begins.

Seemingly heading to the gym afterwards, black three-quarter leggings, a grey T-shirt, cosy black cardigan and flip flops were the order of the day.

Little Louis flew the fashion flag for the family in his super trendy outfit of jeans, blue sneakers and a red plaid shirt worn over a long-sleeved white top.

Enjoying a chat as they made their way to the colourfully-painted school grounds, it was clear to see why the actress has her schedule carefully arranged so as not to miss the daily school run.

The star, who turned 49 on July 26, is rarely spotted without her precious cargo, with the pair obviously sharing a special bond and relishing their time together.

With motherhood her main focus these days, it's fitting then that the Blind Side actress is eager to make more kid-friendly movies that her son will be able to enjoy.

Sandra has signed on to voice new super-villain Scarlett Overkill in the spin-off/prequel to Despicable Me, titled Minions.

The film, which is set for a 2014 release, revolves around the cute yellow henchmen as they compete to serve under the stylish master who has her mind set on world domination.

Louis' mommy will team up with returning star Steve Carell, who voices Gru, while Jon Hamm also joins the cast as Scarlett's husband, Herb Overkill.
