But Rihanna took her love of grills a step too far on Wednesday as she unveiled her new oral accessory.
The singer posted several shots on her Instagram page showing off the new addition to her grills collection - a gold pair in the shape of guns.
Never one to shy away from controversy, Rihanna was seen running her tongue over her teeth in the picture, captioning it: 'Up watching Cocaine Cowboyz #KillinDeseHeauxz #phuckyogrill #ilickthegunwhenimdonecuziknowthatrevengeissweet.'
The top half of the grills were moulded into the shape of a machine gun, while the bottom were just plain gold.
Rihanna then tweeted another shot of her new accessory, writing: 'She + AK.'
Her comment is believed to have been in reference to an AK47 assault rifle.

While grills are a popular celebrity must-have, celebrities are doing their utmost to one up each other with their various twists on the trend.
As well as Rihanna's gun, Beyoncé posted a picture on her Tumblr earlier this week of herself looking somewhat vampiric wearing a fanged diamond and gold grill.
Miley Cyrus and Kesha have also been seen wearing grills in recent months.
In fact, Miley is such a fan of the accessories that she admitted in a recent interview she always carried around three different options with her - so she is never without a grill.
Of Miley's most worn grill is her 'chill grill' - a plain gold option. Miley said: 'This is when I'm trying to be chill. I'm trying to blend in.'
