But there was no sign of wantaway striker Luis Suarez, whose absence from the event only heightened speculation surrounding his future.
The Uruguayan had earlier in the day came on a substitute for the final 30 minutes of the Reds’ win at Anfield where he received a positive reception from supporters.

Despite not showing for Gerrard's dinner, Suarez did turn up for training on Monday where the club's top scorer from last season was on show as the players trained in an open session held at Anfield.
Following two rejected bids from Arsenal already, the Olympiacos clash may yet prove to be his final game in a Liverpool shirt, with the striker still serving a 10-match ban for biting Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic in April.
The Gunners still lead the race to sign the 26-year-old, who was the only high profile player not to attend Gerrard’s high profile Gala event.
