She’s going through a lot of drama in her love life and it looks like Nicole Scherzinger’s emotions have got the best of her as she films scenes for the X Factor.

Eyewitnesses report that the former Pussycat Doll recently broke down in tears during filming for the ITV show’s boot camp stage.

Nicole’s display of emotion comes amid rumours that her ex boyfriend Lewis Hamilton is trying to win her back.

Minutes later and poor Nicole let the tears flow for a second time as 16-year-old hopeful Hannah stood before her.

Nicole apparently urged the teen, who was also in tears, to stay calm and added: ‘We can cry rivers later.’

The new format for the show has no doubt added to the on stage emotion, with Nicole and her fellow judges now able to replace contestants already put through with hopefuls who sing better in later auditions.

A source close to Lewis added: ‘They have met up and have been staying in regular contact, but they haven’t got back together just yet.’

The couple ended their relationship last month after five years together, blaming the split on their hectic work schedules which often see them separated for months at a time.

Nicole isn’t the only one to let her emotions out at work, as Lewis has been open about his heartbreak, even dedicating his Hungarian Grand Prix win last month to his ex:
