The Brazilian star, who played the whole of the second half, noted that "it felt strange to play against Santos", before adding "it was a good result and I'm happy for Barça", without referring to the eight goals put past his former team.
When reminded about the fact that he had not scored any of Barça's eight goals, Neymar played down its importance, saying that "That doesn't concern me. I hope to do well here".
The forward concluded by recognising that he needs to "regain a bit of fitness" and speaking of his delight to be playing alongside the likes of "great players like Cesc, Messi and Xavi."
