Miley later made herself the envy of One Direction fans when she posed with floppy-haired heart-throb Harry Styles backstage, placing a hand over the British singer's chest.
She picked up three surfboard shaped gongs at the show, including Choice Style Icon, Choice Summer Song for We Can’t Stop, and Choice TV Scene Stealer: Female for her work on Two and a Half Men.

She skipped the red carpet at the Universal Ampitheatre at Universal Studios, but sat with father Billy Ray Cyrus and her little sister Noah to watch some of the show.
She even took little Noah up with her to accept one of her awards.

Miley had further cause to celebrate after scoring her first British number one single with song We Can't Stop going straight in at number one.
The song sold 128,000 copies, and also gave the star her first top ten single in Britain.
The song had previously hit the number two spot in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
