Miley Cyrus bares her toned abs in a cropped top and mini skirt as she hits the recording studio

Hip hop has been inspiring her fashions as of late.
But Miley Cyrus found another way to show skin on Tuesday, flaunting her lean legs in a feminine, Asian-printed mini skirt as she headed to work in Studio City, California.
A fan of baring her enviable toned belly,  the 20-year-old We Can't Stop singer teamed the multicoloured piece with a cropped, long-sleeved shirt.

And she clearly opted for an eclectic ensemble, mixing the cut-out top and flower-printed skirt with a pair of high-top, platform Converse sneakers and chained jewellery.
Completing her look, the blonde star sleeked her pixie cut to the side and brightened up her face with a simple touch of make-up.

Ready for a long day at the studio, Miley brought was seen with a large grey tote and her cell phone as she strolled through the parking lot.

Miley has certainly been dedicated to her new album, hitting the studio rigorously and posting plenty of photos and videos for her fans. 

One snap from inside the studio shows her Converses resting on a stack of rack-mounted studio equipment.

On Monday, she also posted a video of her jamming with rapper French Montana as they listened to her remix of Montana's track Ain't Worried Bout Nothin.
In the video, she happily mouths along the words as French grooves in his seat next to her.

He puts his arm around her as they play around - Miley even pauses to stretch her chewing gum in a long strand out of her mouth.
The duo met up at the Clive Davis Grammy party earlier this year almost by accident.
As French tells it, he was sitting down when Miley began giggling at him - and he began laughing, too.
 
'I said, "What you laughing at?" She said, "I know you high like me." After that, we became mad cool,' the rapper said.
But it hasn't all been work, as the pop star also posted Tuesday: 'Catching up on some Cali sun with a boy from Alaska is always fun.'

Along with that tweet was a picture of her sunbathing alongside one of her many pups.

She's clearly been enjoying the summer sun, recently revealing her visible tan lines at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night.

Wearing a tiny Saint Laurent leather bra top and a thigh skimming miniskirt, the actress displayed a prominent white bikini strap line across her back as well as on her chest.

Miley had further cause to celebrate after scoring her first British number one single with song We Can't Stop going straight in at number one.

The song sold 128,000 copies, and also gave the star her first top ten single in Britain.

The song had previously hit the number two spot in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
