Lady Gaga furiously slams former friend Perez Hilton in an angry Twitter tirade... as he accuses her of 'lying'

They were once so close they vacationed together - and he called her his 'wifey.'
But Lady Gaga and Perez Hilton have now taken their bitter feud public with the pop star accusing the gossip blogger of 'stalking' her.
In response, the 35-year-old 'critic' released a 352-word statement titled 'A Statement On LadyGaGa's Lies' on his website Sunday.

The online storm broke after a fan tweeted the 27-year-old singer and told her Perez was being shown around an apartment inside her New York building.

The five-time Grammy winner, who was in Los Angeles at the time, had already taken to Twitter on Saturday to tell her followers about an insulting text her former friend had allegedly sent her following her hip injury.

The spat grew more complicated when a fan tweeted: 'PEREZ HILTON IS AT GAGA'S APARTMENT OH MY GOD'

The Born This Way Singer - born Stefani Germanotta - replied by asking the fan to take photos for her as evidence.

Apparently intent on covering all bases, she then added: 'I'm asking the doormen to let you in so you can see if he's still there.'

Gaga then took things to the next level, tweeting in all-caps to Hilton: 'STAY AWAY FROM ME + MY FAMILY YOU ARE SICK TRYING TO RENT AN APARTMENT IN MY BUILDING TO STALK ME. LEAVE ME ALONE!!!'

Say cheese! Meanwhile, Lady Gaga spent quality time with her devoted fans outside the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood Sunday

But the songstress had more to get off her chest: 'DO I NEED TO BE SHOT IT IN THE HEAD FOR PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND THAT HIM AND EVERYONE ELSE THAT HARASSES ME HAS GONE TOO FAR? I'M A HUMAN BEING.'
But blogger Hilton, born Mario Lavandeira, hit back with an angry statement on his website after he was deluged with death threats and his baby son was targeted by Gaga's obsessive fans.

'While it is still too painful for me to go into detail about why I chose to no longer make her a part of my life, I will say that I am a critic and not a "stalker,"' Perez wrote to his 6.1 million followers.

'Any allegation that I am stalking her, based on a day of house hunting with my baby boy and my mother, is utterly false, defamatory and now appears to be putting me and my family in danger.'

Hilton continued: 'I hope her fans stop sending me death threats, as the suggestion that I pose a danger to Lady GaGa is preposterous...I do wish Lady GaGa happiness and continued success and I assure you my family house hunting has nothing to do with her.'

Perez also tweeted: 'No one is objective. #EveryoneHasAnAgenda' and 'I have a 19 inch penis! #DontBelieveEverythingSomeoneTweets.'

Gaga first hinted at a new feud between the pair on Saturday, when she took to Twitter to tell the world that Perez had poked fun at her when she broke her hip, and that her fans should 'ignore him.'

'Still have the text Perez sent me of me in a wheelchair w the words KARMA written across + Madonna pointing a gun at me. Day of my accident,' she tweeted.
Despite the online drama, Gaga put on a happy face to greet her fans yet again outside her Los Angeles hotel on Sunday.

The Judas singer dressed down in a red plaid shirt and tiny shorts for the meet and greet, but was sure to add a pair of typically enormous boots to the ensemble.
