Katy Perry begins remodelling her $4.3m Hollywood hideaway... which is next door to her second $7.2m ultra modern home

Deciding whether to move out while remodelling a home is a big decision.
But it's not one that Katy Perry need worry about.
The multi-millionaire songbird has started work transforming her new $4.3million Hollywood Hills hideaway.
And rather than camping out while work is underway she can simply move into the neighbouring $7.2million home, which she also owns.

Photos show work underway on the magestic 1950's Spanish style home that sits on star studded Mullholland Drive in the fabled Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles.

The 3,884 sq ft three bedroom and three bathroom property sits on 2.33 acres and boasts a swimming pool and huge balconies to take in the stunning hillside views.

There is also a guest house and lush tropical style gardens for Katy and her friends and family to relax in this secret hideaway.

And these aren't even Katy's only two properties.

The 28-year-old performer - who is worth an estimated $75million - is still trying to sell her 1920's style home that she bought with ex-husband Russell Brand just before they split-up.

This property is currently on the market for $6.925million although the price may still drop further to attract a buyer.

The idea was to incorporate the indoor with the outdoor living spaces, hence it's clean, seamless feel throughout.
