Kanye leaves luxury jeweler Cartier empty-handed...as he avoids prosecution after paparazzi bust-up

Rapper Kanye West became a traffic stopper when he visited the Cartier jewelery store on Rodeo Drive.
But the 36-year-old performer appeared to leave the Beverly Hills boutique on Friday without a gift for his famous reality star girlfriend Kim Kardashian or their baby daughter North.
Kanye did get some good news later in the day though after the Los Angeles District Attorney's office announced that they would not prosecute him in connection with his fight with a paparazzi at LAX on July 19.

The Yeesus performer caused a commotion on the ritzy shopping enclave on a warm Friday when he pulled up outside in his black Range Rover.
Wearing a dark grey T-shirt with black pants and tan baseball boots, Kanye rushed inside the store flanked by security staff, before emerging talking on his cell phone and without any shopping bags in his hands.
A throng of fans and shoppers then surrounded his Range Rover taking snap shots before Kanye was driven to his nearby home.

Good news: Kanye was pleased to hear he was not getting prosecuted

Meanwhile, the LA District Attorney's office announced that they would not be pressing charges against him following his bust-up with a paparazzi last month.
During the incident, he scuffled with a photographer as he left LAX airport - videos showed Kanye wrestling with the paparazzo trying to grab his camera.
Prosecutors said the photographer did not have a significant injury and it was unknown if his camera was damaged; they also claimed no weapon was used and West doesn't have a felony record.

The rapper's case will now likely go before the city attorney for possible misdemeanor charges.
Meanwhile, Kanye accompanied Kim and baby North with their nanny on an outing in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The pair appeared in good spirits as the nanny carried the little girl - who was totally covered with a blanket while still in her car seat.
Kim appeared confident as she showed off the results of the rigorous exercise and diet regime she has been following, having already lost 30lbs since giving birth back in June
