Busy Cardiff target double swoop for West Brom's Odemwingie and Toulouse's Capoue

Cardiff City have resumed interest in West Brom striker Peter Odemwingie.

The unsettled Nigerian has attracted enquiries from Crystal Palace, Hull, Swansea and Fulham but Albion have yet to receive a bid to match their £3m valuation, with Dubai club Al Nasr having an £850,000 offer rejected.

Odemwingie, 32, has been training with the reserves after attempting to force a move to QPR on the final day of the January transfer window.

Cardiff, who have signed Andreas Cornelius and Steven Caulker, also remain in contention for Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue.

Albion, meanwhile, are continuing talks with another Cardiff target, Salomon Kalou, and PSG defender Diego Lugano.

Another Albion target is Scott Sinclair of Manchester City, but Everton, Stoke and Newcastle are also keen.
