Stumbling across Beyonce and Jay Z at your local beach sounds like the stuff dreams are made of.

But for a few lucky Miami fans, that became a reality on Thursday night when the power couple shot a music video on a beach that one fan described as their 'backyard', before taking the time to pose for photos with the ecstatic onlookers.

The video shoot was for one of Beyonce's tracks and fans will need to wait a few more months for its release.

One happy fan captioned an Instagram snap: 'OMG! I just met Beyonce and Jay Z shooting a video in my backyard that doesn’t come out for four months.'

The lucky onlookers uploaded photos of both Beyonce and Jay Z patiently posing with them.

The glowing mother-of-one looked positively radiant as she posed between another sea of beaming girls, proving her unwavering patience with her doting fans.

The Miami Herald reported that police blocked off part of Golden Beach while Beyonce and Jay Z filmed in the area.

Speaking of the superstar couple's demeanour as they mingled with local fans after the shoot, a source told the newspaper: 'Both could not have been kinder and more playful with the young kids and teenagers.'

And the Single Ladies star barely had time to rest; just days later she stormed the stage on the other side of the world at England's V Festival.

The Queen of Pop certainly did not cut corners as she stepped out in countless outfits to see out her high-energy routines, later posting snaps from the event on Instagram.
