Angelina Jolie arrives at LAX flanked by son Maddox... who looks every inch the mini-movie star

His parents are two of the coolest movie stars on the planet.

So it's not too hard to see why 12-year-old Maddox Pitt already looks like a mini-movie star in his own right.
Strutting alongside his mother Angelina Jolie through LAX on Thursday, Maddox gave dad Brad Pitt a run for his money in cool aviator shades, a beanie hat and over-sized leather bag.

Angelina was also striking a similarly styled pose as she held her head high and walked through the airport as if it were a runway.

Maddox - Angelina's eldest child - celebrated his 12th birthday just this month.

And it seems he could be carving out a successful movie career of his own afterall.

Brad revealed in June that Maddox won a small part as a zombie in his hit blockbuster World War Z.

'He's got a small piece in it,' Brad told People magazine.

'He's a zombie who then gets shot. I don't know what that says about my parenting!'

Maddox's love for action movies led to Brad choosing to take the role in World War Z, he explained.

'They love these kinds of things,' he said, 'and that's the thing that first drew me to it.'

The youngster is the oldest of Brad's six children with his longterm partner Angelina Jolie.

It is hardly surprising that Maddox is keen to follow the pair into acting.

He has had a rootless and unusual upbringing on and around film sets, trailing his parents around the world from movie to movie.
