Three's not a crowd! Pique and Shakira share a kiss while swimming with dolphins

The summer holidays are almost over for the world's leading footballers, and Gerard Pique signed off his vacation with Shakira in style.

The Spanish international tweeted a picture of him sharing a kiss with his pop star girlfriend while swimming with dolphins.

Pique headed to Hawaii to soak up the summer sun with Shakira before returning to Spain in preparation for the new season.

It's been a busy year for Pique with the Confederations Cup this summer on the back of a long campaign with Barcelona and, before that, Euro 2012.

Shakira travelled to Brazil to watch Pique in action last month, but Spain came up short in the Confederations Cup when they were beaten 3-0 in the final by Brazil at the Maracana.

But, after some time off to rest and recover, Pique will now turn his attentions to the new season.

Back to business: Pique will begin another season with Barcelona against Levante on the opening weekend

Barcelona recently appointed Gerardo Martino as their new manager and they begin their La Liga title defence at home to Levante on the opening weekend of the season.

Before that, the Spanish giants travel to the Far East to play Thailand and Malaysia as part of a two-match Asian tour.
