Los Angeles - Kelly Rowland had to be rescued when her boat got into difficulty during a whale watching exhibition in Cape Cod, The Sowetan reported.
The Survivor singer was whale watching with four friends on a private rented boat in Provincetown in Cape Cod, Massachusetts when the vessel became disoriented in winds of up to 30 miles per hour.
According to a report on wickedlocal.com: "They became disoriented in the gusty winds and high seas along with the haze which lowered visibility.
"The group was able to establish contact with the Coast Guard. TowBoat US was able to escort the five back to Provincetown, arriving around 22:30. All were wet and tired - and probably seasick - but otherwise unharmed."
Kelly evidently survived her ordeal as Us Weekly reports she was spotted shopping in Provincetown the next day.
