Sandra Bullock totes a huge gift as she takes little Louis to a friend's birthday bash

His mother is an Academy Award winning actress.
But Sandra Bullock’s son Louis is just like any other three-year-old.
On Sunday the Blind Side star took her youngster to a friend’s birthday party in Burbank.

And it seems it pays to be friends with the child of a celebrity as Sandra toted a huge gift for the birthday girl.

The 49-year-old carried a large pink bucket which was brimming with boxes of toys, wrapped in cellophane and covered in colourful ribbons.

As they made their way into the Fun & Fit Gymnastics Centre Louis appeared to be checking that he couldn’t have the elaborate present for himself.

The adorable tot tugged at his mother’s top as they strolled hand-in-hand in the sunshine.

She was dressed for comfort but Sandra still looked lovely in a long-sleeved grey T-shirt, black and white marble effect skinny jeans and silver slingbacks.

The brunette, who had a black leather messenger bag slung across her body, wore her locks scraped into a high ponytail.

Sandra, who celebrated her birthday on Friday, also went make-up free for the casual day out but covered her bare face with cat-eye sunglasses.

Meanwhile Louis sported a black T-shirt with a white skull motif, along with jeans and trainers.

The little one had clearly enjoyed himself at the bash and left toting a big yellow balloon, while his mother carried his party bag.

Sandra recently revealed she was thankful recently for her previous dedication to working out and strengthening her core due to the demands of her new cutting edge sci-fi film Gravity.

The film required Sandra and George Clooney, who play astronauts clinging to survival after a routine mission goes array, to be strung up on cables to simulate space for hours a day.

'I was a dancer growing up, and I used my dance training to keep my core strong for such a demanding role,' Sandra said at last week's Comic-Con.

'They had me strung up on wires for eight to nine hours a day. If you were in pain, either use it or I learned how to meditate.'
