Rihanna hitches a piggyback ride to her hotel after toasting her arrival in Norway with a cocktail fuelled boat party

She’s wrapping up the European leg of her Diamonds world tour and it looks like all that jet setting has finally got to Rihanna.

The singer was given a piggyback ride from a helpful pal on Wednesday night following a night of partying in Oslo, Norway.

Just hours after touching down in the city, the star and her friends headed for a luxury boat to toast their arrival with some cocktails and spot of tanning.

After posting a series of Instagram shots of her welcome party, Rihanna finally headed to her hotel to get some shuteye ahead of her concert in the city on Thursday.

But all that sun had obviously got to the star as instead of using her own two feet, she jumped on the back of a male minder for a piggyback ride.

The star had kept on her blue one piece swimsuit as she left the boat but threw on a pair of bizarre metallic shorts and matching bomber jacket as she disembarked.

The silver outfit made sure the star stood out amongst the crowd of fans who turned out to greet their idol as she headed to her base in the city.

The star needed a team of burly minders to help her get through the crowds of fans and press who all clamoured for a photo of the hit-maker.

As well as her silver cover-up, Rihanna kept her new favourite accessory perched on her head- a pink visor which had a starring role in her earlier Instagram shots from the boat.

The 25-year-old shared a series of pictures of herself and a pal, as she relaxed in her blue and white swimsuit.

One snapshot was taken from above and showed little more than the star’s cleavage, along with her red painted lips and orange drink.

The star's pink headgear enabled Rihanna to see the world through rose coloured glasses and she used it to take photos of the sunset.

The pink filter made the view across the water look very picturesque as Rihanna relaxed while the sun went down.

When it got colder, the Stay hit-maker slipped on her silver bomber jacket.

After her performance in Oslo on Thursday and Bergen the day after, Rihanna will head to Germany where she will perform in Mannheim next Wednesday.

The star will then have three weeks off before the next bout of her tour, which kicks off in Singapore.
And it seems the experience has already been quite emotional.

Midway through her recent concert in Lille, France, Rihanna was overcome with emotion because of the intensity of cheers from the audience.

Wiping away her tears, the singer admitted: 'I don't know what the f*** I'm crying about.'
