Oprah Winfrey enjoys an outdoor meal right in the middle of the Serengeti Plains during her African safari

She has been using some of her $3bn fortune to have a dream safari vacation in Africa.
And Oprah Winfrey took the chance to literally feast on nature by having a slap-up meal on the Serengeti Plains.
The megarich television mogul certainly seemed to enjoy the experience, as she took to Twitter to tell her fans all about it.

Tucking into her hard earned food after a hot air balloon ride, she wote: 'Safe landing . Gonna eat and run. Back to US, yay!'

It came just after she enjoyed what she said was her 'favorite experience on Serengeti: Sunrise in Hot Air Balloon. A  SuperSoulSunday moment indeed!'

The 59-year-old media mogul had previously used her trip to underline the fact her 27-year romance with Stedman Graham is still going strong, sharing a picture of the pair as they started their adventure.

This is hardly a first trip to Africa for well-travelled Oprah.

In fact the successful entrepreneur celebrated her success by founding a boarding school in a small town outside of Johannesburg in South Africa.

Oprah will undoubtedly return from her trip to a busy schedule, with her new film Lee Daniels' The Butler premiering mid-August and a special appearance on David Letterman's late-night talk show slated for Aug. 1.
