Tanning Mom Patricia Krentcil 'enters rehab for alcohol abuse' after being found drunk at airport and placed on detox

Tanning Mom Patricia Krentcil has entered rehab for alcohol abuse, it has been claimed.
The 45-year-old - who is addicted to sunbeds - has reportedly entered the Lukens Institute in Palm Beach on Thursday evening according to TMZ.
New Jersey native Krentcil was recently found drunk at Minneapolis St Paul Airport after being apprehended between flights by airport police.

She was placed in an airport detox for 30 hours but has apparently now decided that she needs more long term support as she tries to recover and beat her drinking demons.
The airport incident was not the first time that Patricia - who lives in Nutley, NJ, with her husband Richard Krentcil - has been in trouble.
Last August she was thrown out of a nightclub in New York for being drunk while earlier that year she denied charges of child endangerment after being accused of taking her five-year-old daughter Anna into a tanning booth.

She faced child endangerment charges after school officials noticed burns on her daughter's legs which Patricia claimed came from sunburn when her child played outdoors.
Afterwards she was not indicted for either incident.

Talking about her love of sunbeds she told Dr Drew Pinsky last October: 'I just like being tan. It's natural. I don't wear make-up so being tan with pink lipstick is what I did.'
It is being reported that Patricia chose the Lukens Institute because it had been endorsed by Michael Lohan - the pair went to high school together and she heard him talking about its techniques and success record.
Patricia will remain in the facility for 30 days as she tries to dry herself out.
