The 36-year-old rapper is in awe of how his girlfriend of more than one year, who gave birth to their first daughter on Saturday (15.06.13), coped during the difficult labour and is eager for them to start planning their wedding as soon as she and the baby return home from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
A source told People magazine: ''They'll star planning their next project, a wedding, sooner rather than later. He definitely wants to marry her, he hasn't left her side.''
Kim was reportedly told she was more than likely suffering from the life threatening condition preeclampsia before the birth of her baby girl.
The 32-year-old reality TV star, who delivered the tot five weeks ahead of schedule, was warned by her doctors that her blood pressure was skyrocketing and her baby was ''in distress'', but she was still able to give birth naturally.
An insider said: ''Kim was scared but Kanye was more nervous. He asked a lot of questions as he paced about, they were both quite quiet.'' The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' is adjusting well to motherhood but is having trouble with breast-feeding.
A source told gossip website RadarOnline.com: ''Kim is doing it but seems like she's having trouble. ''She is planning to keep trying do it for a little while longer but she may end up switching to a bottle.''
