HELEN Flanagan and Scott Sinclair were BOTH stopped for speeding within half an hour of each other after a furious row over his sex texts.
The pair — who split after The Sun revealed the Manchester City star swapped raunchy messages with a glamorous TV presenter — had a shouting match at their Cheshire mansion.
They both jumped into their posh cars and roared off separately to try to cool down, but cops stopped them for breaking the speed limit.
The former Corrie actress — who was in her £100,000 Audi RS8 — and the soccer ace — driving a top-of-the-range red Ferrari — are facing fines and three points on their licences.

Last night a source said: “Scott got back from holiday on Friday and the cheating rumours were already flying around. She tore into him and they had a furious row.

“Things calmed down a bit, but by Saturday morning they were at it again.

“Things got really heated — and they both stormed out and drove off.

“The idea was to cool off but after a few minutes they had both been pulled over by police for speeding. Their cars can do about 180mph, so it’s not hard to go a bit too fast, especially if you’re angry.”

Scott claims one of his pals wrote the messages to Donatella Panayiotou, 29.

Helen, 22, quit the couple’s £6,500-a-month mansion and ended their four-year romance.
A spokesman for Scott refused to comment last night.
