As Everton midfielder Gibson relaxes on his honeymoon in Barbados, it's his wife, Danielle Carter, who steals the show in the sunshine.
Danielle shows off some silky skills with a fly-away football on the white-sand beach and proves she's learned a thing or two from Darron.

The former Manchester United man watches from the sidelines as Danielle struts her stuff with the football, showing a deft touch with the outside of the right foot and kneeing the ball while performing some keepy-ups.

JOEY BARTON (GLASTONBURY)

As Gibson, Carrick and Neville soak up some rays in the Caribbean, Joey Barton is preparing himself for a very different break.

The QPR midfielder, who spent last season on loan at Marseille, packed up his wellies and his tent and made his way to Britain's must-see event of the summer: Glastonbury.

It's no secret that Barton fancies himself as a music aficionado, with his quotes from The Smiths songs often appearing on his Twitter feed.

But the one-cap Englishman was wearing a rather suspect item of clothing as he posed for pictures after arriving at the festival with some friends.

In the picture posted on Barton's Twitter feed, each one of the group are wearing a football shirt. There's a Holland shirt, and Italy shirt, but Barton is wearing a retro Argentina jersey. Have you forgotten 1986 already, Joey?

Barton could bump into a fellow Merseysider while at Glastonbury in Wayne Rooney. The Manchester United striker made the trip by helicopter earlier this week.

ALEX McCARTHY (DUBAI)

Reading's talented young goalkeeper is over in the Middle East basking in the blistering sunshine.
The England keeper went all 'Edin Dzeko' while in Dubai and decided to get in the water with a dolphin.
McCarthy looks overjoyed as the dolphin shows him its belly, expectantly waiting for a good old scratch.

Manchester City's Dzeko posed in a similar picture in an earlier edition of 'Wish you were here', but saw fit to give the mammal a peck on the snout.
